The authors report a case of a diabetic lady who presented with claudication pain and a chronic nonhealing lower extremity wound of more than 6 months. In these patients, it is mandatory to treat the arterial insufficiency first, and it is also important to avoid compression bandaging, which is advised for venous ulcers.
